• Ash Wednesday Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am and 7:00pm on February 22, 2012. There will be no 12:05pm Daily Mass on Ash Wednesday.
• Lenten Guidelines for Fasting & Abstinence
  
  Ash Wednesday, February 22, and Good Friday, April 6, are days of fasting & abstinence. Fridays of Lent are also days of abstinence.
  
  Fasting is to be observed by all 18 years of age and older, who have not yet celebrated their 59th birthday. On a fast day, one full meal is allowed. Two other meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each one's needs, but together they should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted, but liquids, including milk & juices, are allowed.
  
  Abstinence is observed by all 14 years of age and older. On days of abstinence, no meat is allowed. Note that when health or ability to work would be seriously affected, Church law does not oblige. When in doubt concerning fast & abstinence, the Parish Priest should be consulted.
• On March 19-22, Fr. Michael Moore of the St. Patrick Fathers will be at our parish conducting a lenten retreat. Fr. Moore will celebrate Mass at 12:05pm and 6:45pm each day he is here. March 22 will conclude with the Parish Penance Service at 7:00pm.
  
  Mass & Reflections during Fr. Moore's Visit:
  Day 1- God: Source of Love
  Day 2- Jesus: Instrument of Love
  Day 3- Christians: Participants of Love
  Day 4- Repentance & Penance Service
  
  The evening Mass will be a repeat of the earlier noon Mass in order to accommodate as many parishioners as possible. Please consider taking the time to join us for this wonderful opportunity!
• We are now accepting requests for Mass Intentions for the 2012 calendar year. Please contact Bryan to set up dates and intentions.

• The St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Rosary Group is open to all parishioners. The group meets every Thursday evening in the Chapel at 7pm. All are welcome. Questions? Contact Dick Rankin.
